Senen Ltd ("we", "us" or "our") is the data controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit senen.io (our "Website"), contact us, attend events with us, or deal with us in the course of business, including as a prospective or existing customer, partner or supplier.

Senen provides a claims platform to insurance brokers, insurers and claims administrators. Where we process personal data within our platform on behalf of those customers (for example, data about claimants or policyholders), we do so as a processor under our contract with that customer, and the customer's own privacy notice applies. This Privacy Policy does not cover that processing.

The personal data we collect relates to you in your professional capacity. It may include:

•      Contact and professional details: name, job title, employer, business email address, business phone number and professional profile (for example, your LinkedIn profile).

•      Correspondence and relationship details: the content of messages you send us, notes of meetings and calls, your areas of interest, and your marketing preferences.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights and interests, and concluded they are not. We only contact business contacts about matters relevant to their professional role. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Your personal data is stored on secure systems operated by us and our service providers. Some of our service providers are based, or store data, outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. In general:

•      business development contacts and enquiries that do not lead to a relationship: up to two years after our last contact with you;

•      customer, partner and supplier records: for the duration of the relationship and six years afterwards, in line with legal limitation periods;

•      recruitment records for unsuccessful applicants: up to twelve months after the process ends, unless you ask us to keep them longer; and

•      Website and cookie data: as set out in our Cookie Policy.

If you ask us not to contact you again, we will keep a minimal record of your name and email address so that we can respect that request.

8. Children

Our Website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including access controls and encryption. No transmission of information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of data you send to us through our Website.
